jim jimmery, jim jimmery, jim jim jeree,

Well, ladies and gentlemen, it's happened.
Everyone told me it would. Even I had started to suspect it would.

But last night, it officially did.
And I owe it all to this gentleman:
Yes. It's true. I've been Jimmered along with the rest of the world. And he has successfully (and almost singlehandedly) pulled me into BYU basketball fan-dom.
That was a great game.

Some of my favorite slogans are, obviously,
"You've been Jimmered"
"Fredette About It"
and the jingly, "Jim Jimmery, Jim Jimmery, Jim Jim Jeree..."
I also enjoyed the sign "Jimmer 4 Heisman" He's just that good. He could get a Heisman without even touching a football ever.
And, he was called 'King James' in one of the articles. Ambitious, yes, but I really truly hate Lebron, so this is a great convenience for me.

Guys. He is awesome. He was even on PTI - PTI es mi favorito - for Five Good Minutes. Seriously,  I am totally over my head immersed in the Kool-Aid. And I love it.

I'm not the only one. He's still trending on Twitter. Maybe thanks to KEVIN DURRANT (no biggie) and I quote: "Jimmer Fredette is the best scorer in the world!!" Well, Mr. Durrant, sir, I agree.

43 points. Over half of the total. The atmosphere on campus was electric. This is what college is supposed to be like.

I don't even know what to say. I love Jimmer. And I will spend my Thursday night alternating between writing a paper on "Ode to a Nightingale" and soaking up every good thing Sports Center had to say about King James.

picture this...

I have to act out the part of 'King Claudius' from Hamlet for my Shakespeare class.
This class is kind of a beast, so I have to memorize his whole praying speech.

So, last night, I am in my room. On my knees. Reading "O wretched state! O bosom black as death!" complete with despair and hand actions.
I look up and who should be standing in my doorway (unbeknown to me) but my roommate Jenna? Just watching. From the doorway. Trying really hard not to laugh, from the looks of it.
 "I have to do this."
The words are out of my panicked mouth before I realize it. Seriously. It was a total knee jerk reaction. I had to make sure Jenna knew I didn't just act out Shakespeare on my knees in my bedroom for fun.

We then spent the next ten minutes straight laughing so hard that we couldn't talk.

holla!

"If you're going through hell - keep going." Winston Churchill.

Well friends, as downer as the last post may have been, I promise you I am not going through hell. (i just like that quote) It's been a very good two weeks. Time seems to be flying by.

just since I've moved back, I have

1. read an entire Shakespeare play and wrote a small paper on it.
2. worked through 10 outta-nowhere busy days at the good old asb
3. seen two famous people (and these- just today! no kidding)
   a. Condoleezza Rice (yowza. what a spelling)
   b. Donny Osmand
4. Had a cards night with my Lond-y peeps. Love y'all.

That's all for now, folks. Here's a picture to keep you interested:

I'm into black-and-white right now, can you tell?

Have a bueno weekend

well, I'm back...

For the record, I find it safe to say that I hate moving back to school in January.
Second for the record, this year is no where near as bad a last year.
Third for the record, it is bad enough. I don't particularly like it.
Fourth for the record, the only time I did not hate coming back to school in January was when I came back Freshman year, with Jamesy at the wheel.
Fifth for the record, I think I'll feel bad that I wasn't a better sister that semester for a long, long time.
Sixth for the record, I like my classes. Shakespeare, Creative Writing (wowza. this will be interesting), Brit Lit part 2, Doctrine and Covenants, and Persuasive writing.
Seventh for the record, I think I'm still going to go to Brother Bott's evening Mission Prep class. Shh. That's against the rules.
Eighth for the record, it should not get dark at 5:00 pm. It just should not. It is depressing and I hate it.
Ninth for the record, it's going to get better. Much, much, way, way better. I know that it will, because of last winter.
Tenth for the record, if you want to have a party let's chat. I need something fun to go on.
Eleventh for the record, this is a lot of "for the record"'s.

Isn't this the sweetest picture? I love libraries.
